Full 2D/3D CAD support <*>

When the avionics installation requires new mechanical parts for the devices, Northern Avionics is capable of developing all the mechanics as well. Starting from 2D/3D CAD technical drawings, Northern Avionics can prototype and produce complex mechanic parts from aluminium or other materials.

3D Modelling of mechanical parts <*>

After the 2D/3D CAD design, an accurate tridimensional model of the mechanic parts under development is created so that the rendered structure may be deeply analyzed to evaluate the design from any point of view. Geometry and materials are modelled as close as possible to reality in order to maximize the efficiency of the model.

Finite-Element strain and stress analysis <*>

Numerical methods such as Finite Elements Analysis are finally performed over the tridimensional model in order to test and demonstrate its compliance over all the Aeronautics Regulations, during ordinary and extra-ordinary operation. The model deeply tests the intgrity and the response of the structure in extreme cases such as crash landings or the maximum ratings, providing the highest safety margins for the whole avionics installation. Results of calculations and simulations are finally included in the official reports, providing high-quality technical documentation for the whole work.
